Blindspot is the culmination of my research, process, and design work developed for the senior social issue exhibit. Focused on human trafficking within the transportation industry, it draws attention to the lack of public awareness, the everyday spaces traffickers exploit, and the systemic invisibility that allows this crime to persist. Through one survivor’s story and the response of a gas station employee trained by an anti-trafficking organization, the exhibit underscores how awareness, paired with action, can intervene in the cycle.
